If you have recently lost a loved one, please contact the mortuary of your choice. The funeral director will then contact us.
A priest will meet with you to plan the funeral service.
Through Baptism, a Catholic begins his or her faith journey with the belief that death is not the end nor does it break the bonds forged in life. Since the Mass is the central source and summit of our faith, Catholic Funerals generally include Mass. The Mass is planned to incorporate the wishes of the deceased and provide opportunity for loved ones to reflect. If there is a burial following the Mass, the priest usually will meet the funeral party at the graveside after the Mass and preside at the blessing of the grave.
If a family will have a vigil or rosary for their loved one on the evening before the Funeral Mass, one of our ministers of bereavement will come to the mortuary to conduct the service.
We do not have eulogies during the funeral Mass; eulogies and other remembrances of the dead are more properly done at the vigil service the evening before the Funeral Mass.
Arrangement for music: Please contact Carlos Madrigal (Cell phone: 909-455-8326), the parish music director. His charge for the music will be $150; $100 for an additional singer, if you choose to have one. Even if you make other arrangements for music, Carlos Madrigal must approve the choice of music.
