If you have recently lost a loved one, please contact the mortuary of your choice. The funeral director will then contact us and arrange the services for your loved one.
Through Baptism, a Catholic begins their faith journey believing that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. Since the Mass is the central source and summit of our faith, Catholic Funerals generally include Mass. The Mass is planned to incorporate the deceased's wishes and provide an opportunity for loved ones to reflect. If there is a burial following the Mass, the priest usually will meet the funeral party at the graveside after the Mass and preside at the blessing of the grave.
If a family has a vigil or rosary for their loved one the evening before the Funeral Mass, one of our bereavement ministers will come to the mortuary to conduct the service.
We do not have eulogies during the funeral Mass; tributes and other remembrances of the dead are more appropriately done at the vigil service the evening before the Funeral Mass.
Music arrangement: Please contact Luis Avila at [email protected] our parish music director.
